When I was 18 I wanted to be a nurse because of an incredibly inspirational episode of Scrubs. So I put a pin in my passion for playing make believe to attend nursing school at Saint Louis University School of Nursing. I spent the years after graduating working with bone marrow transplant patients. One consistent piece of advice I got from my patients was that life is too short to not do what you love. After 8 years working in hospitals I moved to New York City to return to my first love of playing make believe. I am currently based in Brooklyn working as a nurse (it’s a pretty solid day job), actor, comedian and indie film producer. I’m passonaite about telling compelling stories and bringing them to life through film. One of the most rewarding aspects of my career is sharing my knowledge and experience with others. I teach monthly workshops on various aspects of indie film making. More information about those workshops can be found at LadyGardenProductions.com
